The Winder Downtown Development Authority/Main Street Board is to promote an attractive downtown by encouraging historic preservation and supporting economic development endeavors.

About the DDA / Main Street Board
The purpose of Winder Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is to foster the revitalization and redevelopment of Winder’s Central Business District by facilitating projects that will promote trade, commerce, industry and employment opportunities. The authority consists of seven appointed members, each serving a term of office of 4 years and members may be re-appointed. All meetings are posted in advance as needed. The public is welcome to attend all scheduled meetings.

The City Clerk serves as the Secretary to the DDA. To contact a member of the DDA, or to request meeting agendas and minutes, please contact the Clerk’s office.

The Downtown Development Authority Regular Meetings are scheduled on the 3rd Tuesday every other month at 2:00pm.

All Regular and Called DDA Meetings are held at the Winder City Hall, 25 E Midland Ave, Winder, GA in the Conference Room on the 2nd Floor. Meetings begin at 2:00 p.m. and are open to the public.
