City Pond Park
City Pond Park  permit required
City Pond Park is open from sunrise to sunset, free to the public. Enjoy walking paved sections of the park and the two areas equipped with playground equipment. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. A 24-acre pond created by Cedar Creek allows locals to enjoy fishing. No boating or swimming is allowed. Gathering permitted are required.

Gazebo
The Gazebo  permit required
The Gazebo is located in the center of Downtown Winder on the Corner of N. Broad Street and Candler Street. All gatherings or events must be permitted by the City of Winder.
Plaza
Jug Tavern Park

The most recently renovated amphitheater in the City Jug Tavern Park holds the City’s former namesake. Used annually for the City’s special events Spooktacular Halloween Festival and Santa’s After party this space accommodates crowds larger than 3,500 people.

Another hidden gem in the city, this neighborhood adjacent park is great for afternoon walks. Picnic tables and green space allow open play and memory making. All gatherings inside the park must be permitted through the City to ensure safety.
The Plaza at Jackson

The Plaza located on North Jackson and Candler Street is ideal for acoustic sets or small gatherings. Buskers must be permitted through the City of Winder.
Veterans Commemorative Park

Honoring the men and women of this area, past and present, who have served this nation in the armed forces. Veterans and their families have made great sacrifices which should long be remembered by all.

White's Mill Park

Opened to the Public officially in November 2022, this 2.3-mile unimproved nature trail, was home to a former grist mill located along the cusp of Cedar Creek. Once a spot for commerce and trading, grist mills were a sign of economic development and a thriving community.
Wilkins Greenway
Wilkins Greenway

The City of Winder partnered with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources to construct a one-mile multi-use trail for bicycling, walking, inline skating, and nature viewing from Downtown Winder into Fort Yargo State Park.
