The City of Winder brought Halloween spirit to life on Friday, October 25 weekend with our annual "Spooktacular 2024" event in the heart of downtown. This year’s spooky theme was Winder’s Laboratory complete with the mad scientist roaming in Jug Tavern Park.
Hundreds of locals and visitors, transforming the streets into a festive Halloween hub filled with costumes, candy, and family-friendly activities.
Special Events Director Talore Ruedt said, "It’s always wonderful to see our community come together to celebrate in such a fun and safe way. Spooktacular has become a cherished tradition, and we’re glad to see so many smiling faces again this year."
The event concluded with a costume contest, where participants showcased their creativity, adding a competitive yet lighthearted end to the evening.
