The City of Winder is developing a Multi-Modal Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP). This plan will help the City understand the problems in Winder's transportation network and prioritize solutions for making it safer, easier, and more comfortable to travel in the city.

Stakeholder involvement, public engagement, and coordination with city staff and other agencies is an ongoing element of the planning process. The Project Management Team is convening a TIP Steering Committee comprised of city departments, partner agencies, and other local organizations. This partnership will present an opportunity to provide input to the identification of the community vision and goals, needs, and proposed transportation solutions. All significant findings and recommendations will be presented to the Steering Committee for review, validation, and feedback.
