Library Information
The 8 libraries and 4 affiliates of the Piedmont Regional Library System offer library services to Barrow, Jackson and Banks Counties. The City of Winder is fortunate to be the home of Main Regional Library of the Piedmont system. The Library is funded by the State of Georgia and through contributions from local government. The Regional Library is operated by a paid professional staff and receives valuable support from volunteers from throughout the community.
The City of Winder is an active participant and contributor to the Library, and appoints two members to the Piedmont Regional Library Board. Members of the Piedmont Regional Library Board serve terms of office of 3 years.
